This is a bed that has a number of unique features, some that don’t meet the eye and have to be pointed out.
The bed has no metal hardware anywhere – not even the joinery of the sides to the headboard and footboard. The sides come together in a classy dovetail joint. So does other parts of the base board to give it a rigid construction. The headboard is a chunky live-edge slab of the same wood used throughout. The legs are angled outwards and on the footboard rather on the sides as they usually are.
