She loves anything in black, so much so that she stood her ground to get the feature wall in her bedroom painted (almost) black.
While she would have loved to have a completely black bed, I decided to keep the majority of the bed in light color, while bringing in a few dashes of black stain in appropriate places.
The bed frame is made of White Ash and the headboard is a live-edge American Walnut slab. The legs are stained black, while the rest of the bed is finished nautral with a hard-wax oil finish.
She loved the bed so much that she put it together by herself. She proudly shows it off to her friends when they visit.
